Hagai Amir is an Israeli citizen who is known for being the brother of Yitzhak Rabin's assassin, Yigal Amir. Hagai Amir was also involved in the planning and preparation of the assassination of Rabin, which took place on November 4, 1995. He served a 16-year prison sentence for his role in the assassination and was released from prison in 2012. Since his release, he has expressed support for far-right and nationalist political ideologies in Israel. He continues to be a controversial figure in Israeli politics and society.
